![]() ![]() ![]() At this vacation home, guests have access to barbecue grills. Oregon State Parks celebrated its 100-year anniversary in 2022 with events throughout the year. Guests of this vacation home have access to billiards. Its existence is the result of a merger between two separate but nearby areas: Ona Beach (formerly Ona Beach State Park) on the seashore and the Beaver Creek Natural Area, about a mile inland. At first we were walking amidst the trees. Just north of Waldport on Oregon’s Central Coast, Brian Booth is a day-use state park popular with beach-lovers, birdwatchers, and kayakers. We decided to go to the Ona Beach State Park. The state parks offer many outdoor recreation opportunities, such as overnight camping facilities, day hiking, fishing, boating, historic sites, astronomy, and scenic rest stops and viewpoints. Brian Booth State Park has two major portions: Beach Creek Natural Area and Ona Beach State Park. The variety of locales and amenities of the parks reflect the diverse geography of Oregon, including beaches, forests, lakes, rock pinnacles, and deserts. The ocean is the next bodies of water, even more attractive While we were there, there were lots of children having fun in the ocean, It was a bit misty, but that didnt stop us to enjoy this beach. The park was once referred to as Ona Beach State Park, but was renamed in 2013 to include Beaver Creek. The area is a great spot to come for a day hike or enjoy the beach and coastal views. There are lots of bodies of water on this State Park. Brian Booth State Park consists of two separate areas: Ona Beach and Beaver Creek State Natural Area.
