We should have gone to the Museum of Science and Industry, it would have been cheaper and way more attractions, same amount of travel. Over all it was a waste of a 6 hour round trip and $115.00. The Magician Ride was broken but didn't look like much fun anyway. One slide and one play table with about 100 duplo blocks. There are 3 build areas that are really tiny, not enough room for more than 5 kids really. The play area looks really cool but is not much to climb in or on. Upstairs there is a 4D movie that lasts 15 minutes, again it's cute but the timing is off between the video and the 4D stuff so it wasn't great. Next up is a 5 minute shooter ride that is cute but the guns don't work and the videos freeze up. After that area you come to a VR ride that costs $6 per person and no one under 6 can ride it. While the builds of Chicago upon entry are impressive, I wouldn't expect to pay money to see them. We were all disappointed by the lack of attractions and entertainment that came with the $25 per person price point. We planned this trip as a surprise Christmas present for our 5 year old who loves Legos and has been asking to go to Legoland for months. ![]() He had fun for like an hour and a half (again just like other inside play areas). However, we are staying on the west side, we had a couple of hours to kill, my kid likes legos, and so it was ok. There's no way if you were staying in Chicago as a tourit you should make the drive all the way out here for this. So, there's a little mix of activities but it is $25 a person so a little underwhelming for that. There is also a movie but we did not go to that. ![]() ![]() It is coupled with 1) a very small ride comparable to a fair ride that goes in a circle and up and down, 2) a ride maybe a step above Dave and Busters where you drive around and shoot at things (and didn't seem to work great), 3) a tiny play area smaller than most playgrounds or indoor play areas, 4) some impressive large-scale lego sculptures, and 5) a couple of lego stations. First off, it's basically a big store in a mall. So, it wasn't as disappointing as some of the others mentioned but I think I was more prepared going in.
